GETTING TO HAMILTON ISLANDFly into Hamilton Island
Hamilton Island is the only island within the Whitsundays with its own commercial airport. The Hamilton Island Airport services direct flights from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Cairns. Hamilton Island airline providers include Jestar, Quantas and Virgin Australia. If you are being transfered to another island location via private transfer you will need to meet at G Arm, Hamilton Island Marina. Fly into Whitsunday Coast Airport Guests of Hamilton Island can fly into the Whitsunday Coast Airport just south of Proserpine. Upon arrival to the Whitsunday Coast Airport you will be required to organise bus or taxi transfers to transport you to Shute Harbour. It will take you around 30 minutes to arrive at Shute Harbour where you will board your private boat transfer with Mars Charters to Hamilton Island Marina. Shute Harbour is the closest departure point to Hamilton Island which gives you the quickest transfer possible to Hamilton Island. |
